CURATORS

Would you like to curate an exhibition of Leytonstone Museum’s photographic archive?

The box museum of 100 photographs is available for pop-up exhibitions and handling sessions for anyone who would like to be involved.

Curators can either opt to select photographs from the box museum to exhibit in any venue they choose or I can co-curate exhibitions with individuals or groups who would like to be involved. I can help with ideas for venues. I will also arrange handling opportunities where groups of people can have  see, handle and discuss the printed images (and potentially curate mini exhibitions).

Curators do not need special exhibition spaces to exhibit the photographs. See the exhibitions page for examples.

The only criteria is that any exhibitions and handling sessions will be photographed to create a new body of work which will be shown on the exhibitions page and in future exhibitions.

New opportunities are available for volunteer curators – please get in touch!
